Withdrawal & Refund
1. The 14-day framework
Consumer withdrawal rights generally provide a 14-day period. The information and terms for your specific Paddle purchase apply to a purchase; mandatory statutory rights remain in place. You do not need to give a reason for withdrawal.
Printchen offers no additional voluntary refunds of purchased !CHEN. Statutory withdrawal rights, remedies for defects and applicable rights under the Paddle Buyer Terms remain unaffected. Unlocking a design does not automatically end all withdrawal rights.
2. Unused purchases and subscriptions
Statutory withdrawal and refund rights and the terms of the specific Paddle purchase apply to single purchases and subscriptions. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals; it is distinct from withdrawal or requesting a refund. Unused !CHEN remain after ordinary cancellation.
3. Partly used purchase
You can also exercise a withdrawal right or claim a statutory refund for a partly used purchase. Whether a refund is due and its amount depend on the applicable legal rules and the terms of the specific Paddle purchase.
Printchen does not promise an additional voluntary proportional refund. Use neither automatically causes a statutory claim to be rejected nor causes used !CHEN to be retrospectively charged at the single-unit price.
4. Identify a specific purchase
A withdrawal or refund request relates to a specific Paddle purchase, not the entire wallet indiscriminately. Use the purchase identifier from your Paddle receipt and the email address used for the purchase so it can be identified.
You can contact Paddle through the support link in your receipt or at paddle.net. For assistance from Printchen, email stuart@printchen.com. No Printchen login is required for this. Do not send payment details such as full card numbers.
A dedicated electronic withdrawal function in myPrintchen and a corresponding public form are not yet available here. This information page does not itself submit a withdrawal or trigger a refund.
5. Refund destination
Approved refunds are processed through Paddle to the original payment method. The !CHEN wallet is not a cash-out method. Review of the specific amount does not affect mandatory statutory time limits or rights.
6. Gifts and bonus !CHEN
The sender can cancel a !CHEN gift before acceptance. Reserved !CHEN also return after the 14-day acceptance period expires and count as unused again. Accepted gifts carry no additional voluntary refund promise. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Purchase-linked bonus !CHEN are credited only after the withdrawal period. Full or partial withdrawal of the associated purchase removes that purchase’s bonus in full.
7. Immediate digital provision
Before a new design unlock, separate consent to immediate provision and acknowledgment of its withdrawal consequences for that digital design are requested. An email confirmation follows. This does not automatically end rights relating to your subscription or credit purchase. Mandatory statutory rights and rights relating to defective files remain unaffected.
