Terms of service

1. Business operator and scope

These terms apply to purchases of physical products and digital 3MF files from the PRINTCHEN Shopify shop. The business operator is Stuart Acklam, sole proprietor trading as 11BAR3D / PRINTCHEN, Ehestorfer Heuweg 74a, 21149 Hamburg, Germany; email: stuart@printchen.com; telephone: +49 40 41167116; VAT ID: DE321363999. Studio purchases made separately outside this Shopify shop are governed by the terms shown there.

2. Orders and contract formation

Product listings are invitations to place an order. You select products and variants, enter any required personalisation details, and review the order summary at checkout. You may correct your entries before placing the order. By using the final order button indicating an obligation to pay, you submit a binding order. We accept your order by expressly confirming acceptance, dispatching the goods or supplying the ordered 3MF file by email. An automatic acknowledgement initially records receipt of your order.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in euros and include applicable statutory VAT. For physical products, shipping charges shown before the order is placed are additional. Digital 3MF files have no shipping charge. Only the payment methods actually offered at checkout are available. Etsy vouchers and Etsy credits cannot be redeemed in this shop.

4. Personalisation and product characteristics

The relevant product description, selected variants and agreed personalisation details determine the product supplied. For team jersey products, we agree a preview with you; printing begins after your explicit approval to print. Please check names, numbers and colours carefully. Only supply artwork that we may lawfully use for your order.

Visible print layers and minor surface differences arising from the material or production process may form part of the described appearance of a 3D print. The agreed product characteristics and statutory rights concerning defects remain decisive; these statements do not generally exclude claims concerning defects.

5. Delivery and digital files

Processing times, shipping charges and delivery destinations are set out on the product page, in our shipping policy and at checkout. Processing time and transit time are distinct. Please follow the product-specific care and safety instructions.

Digital 3MF files: Customise the product in the Studio popup, apply your design and select the 3MF file to print yourself on the product page. Payment takes place in Shopify checkout. Once Shopify confirms payment, the 3MF file matching your saved Studio design is generated automatically and emailed to the address supplied with your order. The email usually arrives within a few minutes; instant delivery is not guaranteed. If a technical problem occurs, we check your order and send the matching file manually. The stated delivery time applies; contact us before ordering if you have questions. No printed product, magnets or other hardware are included. You need suitable 3D-printing and slicer equipment; check the compatibility information in the product description. The file price is shown on the product page and at checkout.

6. Withdrawal, returns and exchanges

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal unless a statutory exception applies. The information and model form are provided in our withdrawal policy. The online function is available through the “Withdraw from contract” (“Vertrag widerrufen”) button in the shop. Any additional return or exchange terms are governed by that page and the expressly agreed product terms. No general voluntary right to cancel before dispatch is promised. Statutory rights of withdrawal, termination and remedies for defective goods remain unaffected.

Statutory rights concerning defects apply. If there is a problem, please contact stuart@printchen.com with your order number and a description. Statutory provisions apply to liability for damage.
