The chess pieces are stored in the bento box, each in its own place. The board can be rolled up like a real board and folded in the middle to fit into the box. A lid keeps everything securely in place.

White versus black?
The pieces are maki (for black) and uramaki (for white). This makes the difference immediately obvious on the board!

The queen and the king?
They are hand rolls served in stands that feel like thrones. Soy paper for white, nori for black. The queen gets even more style with a red tuna insert.

New in our range! A king and a queen with sake and soy sauce are now available! They fit into the box just like the hand rolls, so you can now choose your favorite set.

The pawns?
Wasabi and ginger. You can't do without them!
