This 3D-printed onion regrower transforms a suitable glass or container into a small hydroponic station for your windowsill.

With 1 large and 4 small planting baskets, you can plant several onion bases at the same time – without any soil.

Suitable for round container openings with an inner diameter of approx. 68–86 mm.

Glass, plants and decorations are not included.

Why throw away spring onions after using them once?

With this practical regrower, you can place suitable onion bases in water and watch them regrow.

The regrower simply sits on top of a suitable glass. The roots grow through the openings in the planting baskets towards the water.

Three integrated fastening tabs also allow it to be secured with a suitable rubber band or cord.

🫙 WILL MY GLASS FIT?
Please measure the inner diameter of the actual glass opening before ordering.
Recommended: 68–86 mm inner diameter

The opening must be large enough for the planting baskets to fit into the container. At the same time, it must be smaller than the 90 mm top plate so that the regrower rests securely on the rim.

⚠️ Important: Manufacturers' specifications for drinking glasses and storage jars often refer to the outer diameter rather than the actual inner opening.
Due to different glass shapes, rim thicknesses and tapers, we cannot guarantee universal compatibility with every glass or specific glass series.
Please measure again before ordering.

🌱 HOW IT WORKS
Measure the inner diameter of your glass.
Fill the glass with fresh water.
Place the regrower completely on the rim of the glass.
Check that it rests stably and level.
If necessary, secure it additionally using the tabs.
Carefully place the onion bases in the appropriate baskets.
Make sure that the existing roots reach the water.
Change the water regularly.

Each onion regrower is produced individually using the 3D printing process.

Fine visible layer lines, small starting points and slight differences in surface or color are typical features of 3D printing and do not generally constitute a product defect.

Note on food contact
This product is not offered as food-safe or certified for direct contact with food.
It serves as a plant holder over a water container and not as a drinking vessel, tableware or container for storing food.

Care instructions for PLA
PLA can deform at higher temperatures. Therefore, please:
Clean by hand with lukewarm water only
Do not clean in the dishwasher
Do not use boiling or very hot water
Do not place on or directly next to a heater, stove or other heat source
Do not expose to intense heat for extended periods

When children are caring for plants, use only under adult supervision
Check that it sits securely on the container before each use
Use only on a stable and level surface
An unsuitable, too small or too large glass can cause it to slip or tip over
A rubber band or cord can provide additional security, but cannot replace a sufficiently large support surface
Do not continue to use damaged, cracked or severely deformed parts
Handle glass containers carefully – glass can break
Regularly check the water, plant and container for dirt
Do not use as a drinking vessel, tableware or food storage container
